    So, I failed.I want to talk about a recent project I worked on—a voter encouragement ad. The goal? To resonate with first-time voters, leveraging their voices and thoughts. The brief was to be minimalistic—just a headline, a subheadline, and a pinch of body copy, no visuals. Simple, yet it was meant to be powerful.I envisioned speaking directly to the youth in a language resonating with them, hoping to spark their interest in shaping their future through voting. However, It flopped.The execution didn't hit home as expected. My mentor wasn't impressed. The interaction was low, the feedback mixed, and admittedly, there were more captivating ideas out there.Reflecting on this, I see where I stumbled. My language didn't bridge the gap between intention and perception. The message, though clear to me, didn't align with what the audience needed or wanted to hear.Not every swing yields a hit, but every failure is a stepping stone to understanding what works and what doesn't.And I'm back to the drawing board, more informed and inspired.

Therefore, we must learn to read between the lines, interpreting not just what is said but the underlying reasons behind it.To translate this understanding into effective leadership, consider:Listening More: What aren’t they saying?
